The 2018 participants are the FIRST EVER people to take part in the Let’s Life program! Their names will be cemented in the ‘Let’s Life Legends’ space.
Jack Mendes - Participant
For many years now Jack has been set on the idea of studying law, and to do this he hopes to attend Monash University.
To study at Monash university, Jack will need to move to Melbourne and live out of home. Jack has many hobbies including photography, walking and music (playing trumpet and singing)!
Chantelle Petrie - Participant
Chantelle has grown up around animals, giving her a huge passion for horses and cattle. Chantelle hopes to major in genetics or get a bachelor in agriculture, to eventually go into artificial insemination or embryo in livestock. Chantelle also has a passion for music. Coming from bass coast, Chantelle loves the beach and has always loved going for a swim!
Clay Duke - Participant
In 2019 Clay hopes to study a Bachelor of Music at Boxhill Institute. Clay has a dream to be a musician. Clay plays Underwater Hockey and has represented the sport at an amazing level for both Victoria and Australia!
Clay is looking forward to the Let’s Life program!
Catherine Williams - Participant
Catherine is aspiring to continue her studies in the faculty of engineering commencing in 2019. Some of Catherine’s hobbies include gaming, archery and cooking. Living on such a large farm, (approximately 1800 acres), Catherine finds it hard to attend social events aside from those associated with school. The idea of moving to Melbourne for university is a very daunting idea!
Kelsey King - Participant
Kelsey is quite the artistic person. Kelsey loves some classic old music, never passes up a good laugh and is keen to learn some life skills through the program.
Kelsey is planning to undertaking study in interior design and decoration in Melbourne!
Lachlan Cox - Participant
Lachlan would love to study electrical and electronics engineering at Swinburne University of technology. Lachlan never passes at playing video games and underwater hockey. He also likes watching anime and listening to music. Currently, Lachlan is a librarian at Inverloch for the west Gippsland regional library corporation!
Olivia Drazzi - Participant
Olivia is hoping to pursue a career in law. Olivia loves reading books and watching a good movie and LOVES watching the footy. Olivia would like to dedicate more to charities and fundraising as she has done quite a bit of this in the past and really enjoy s it! Olivia also finds dad jokes hilarious and loves the opportunity to see friends!
Riley Coleman - Participant
Riley is a hardworking and enthusiastic student who is looking to study medicine in 2019. Riley loves working with people around him and thoroughly enjoys spots with peers of all ages. Currently Riley coaches an award winning soccer team in Inverloch and is an active member of the clubs commitee!
Oscar Rogerson - Participant
Oscar hopes that some of his friends are also accepted into university next year so it will provide a great chance to rent a house together! Oscar is looking forward to getting immersed in scientific studies at university, and he would love to go on into research or public health!
Mitchell Chisholm - Participant
Mitchell loves to read a variety of books in his spare time.
Mitchell Is currently going through an obsession with Victorian fiction, particularly Anthony Trollope's. Mitchell also enjoys to read non-fiction, especially history.
Kylah Di-Pietro - Participant
Kylah is a bubbly food and art enthusiast! She loves baking and making music.
Kylah strives to create a future including her hobbies and intends to work hard to make sure she has a great work, study and life balance!
Elijah Gemmill - Participant
Elijah is a very dedicated and hard-working student who constantly strives to do his best at everything he does. Elijah is also a very talented at music, often playing at cafes and other live performances. Elijah is a frequent volunteer, assisting Clean Ocean and Inverloch Surf Life-saving Club!
Cluanie Swanwick - Participant
Cluanie is an eager student who has an innate passion for the performing arts and intends to study within this field, specifically Musical Theatre.
Cluanie is prepared to move where ever she needs to, in order to ensure she is studying the course of her dreams!

Josh, founding Let’s Life shares a passion for young people and has a drive to enable more people from rural and regional Victoria to attend university and TAFE.
Josh never let’s a day go by without a hot coffee and enjoys spending time working on projects, exploring new areas and spending time with family and friends!
Geraldine Archibold - First Contributor
Geraldine worked hard to get the Let’s Life program established and played a vital role in applying for funding to enable the program to establish!
Geraldine shares a passion for young people and is a huge advocate for more young people, having opportunity to attending university and TAFE!
Maddy Harford - First Program Launcher
Maddy is the Chair at Bass Coast Adult Learning, the first organisation to auspice the program.
